Problems that you may be having with Bad Company 2

You may be experiencing problems logging into BC2 getting a "Failed to login soldier" message. EA has messed up things again with the update that they did on Thursday night. Somehow it messed up the way the names are viewed by the server. It wants to see all small letters instead of capital letters.

Those who had originally started with small case letters for their name should be fine. The ones that have any capital letters, like CHANNAS, won't be able to login. I had to change mine from TheAnimal304 to animal304. It won't let you create a new character like "theanimal304". It'll tell you that that name is already in use.

I'm posting this here because I've noticed that there hasn't been anyone on your server and I've pulled out just about the last of my hair trying to figure out what was going on with the log in procedures.

EA hasn't answered the many people that have been posting about this problem on their forums. Guess they are more interested in BF4 than they are with the problems that they created on BC2.
